The ～に決きめる pattern is one of the most common ways to discuss decisions in Japanese. As opposed to ～にする, ～に決きめる is generally used for big decisions, rather than trivial ones. As opposed to ～になる, ～に決きめる suggests that the decision was made by the speaker, or subject, rather than decided for them, by someone else.

To use ～に決きめる, simply attach it to a noun. This then becomes the noun that is being decided upon.
