To form the たい form of a verb, simply attach the auxiliary verb たい to the verb's stem form.

The たい form of verbs is used to express wants and desires. The たい form cannot be used to refer to the wants/desires of others unless you are asking a question. Both を and が can be used in conjunction with the たい form, but each has a different nuance. This is covered in the main article.
