About

一方いっぽうで is a combination of 一方いっぽう and the で particle, and is used to express "while X, also Y", or "on the other hand".

一方いっぽうで's main usages are ① expressing that someone/something has two contrasting aspects; ② expressing that a given subject performs two actions/that two states happen at once (often, not literally at the same time).

E.g. しおりはやさしい一方いっぽうおこるとこわい。 "While Shiori is kind, she's scary when she's mad."

E.g. たんじろうは学校がっこうかよ一方いっぽう、ジムでバイトをしている。 "While going to school, Tanjiro also works a part-time job at the gym."

It is also possible to drop で from 一方いっぽうで for either usage.

E.g. 自分じぶん仕事しごとをやる一方いっぽう新人しんじんのトレーニングもしている。 "While doing my own work, I'm also training the new person."

The その一方いっぽうで pattern is also possible and refers back to previously mentioned information.

E.g. 仕事しごとでは真面目まじめだけど、その一方いっぽういえではだらしない。 "While he's serious (about his job) at work, at home, he's a slob."
