～のみならず is used to express "not only, but (also)".

～のみならず can attach to verbs, い-adjectives, な-adjectives, and nouns.

～のみならず is very formal in tone, and is almost exclusively used in formal written or spoken scenarios.

E.g. この体重たいじゅうを保たもつためには、食事しょくじに気きを付つけるのみならず、適度てきどな運動うんどうが必要ひつようとなる。 "In order to maintain this weight, I must not only pay attention to my meals, but also perform the proper amount of exercise."
