〜抜く(ぬく)
To do something from beginning to end/completely/extremely
About
The 「(verb stem)抜く」 pattern employs the verb 抜く ("to do to the end; to do thoroughly") to express that someone "does their best to do X until the end", or that they "do X thoroughly".
~抜く is often used when someone overcomes hardships or completes a difficult action. It can also be used to emphasize the extent to which someone does a given action, similarly to adverbs like 「とても」, 「しっかり」, and 「すっかり」. This will ultimately come down to the surrounding context and which verb 抜く is paired with.
E.g. ペンギンの赤ちゃんは、親ペンギンの足の上で寒い冬を耐え抜くのです。 "Baby penguins endure the winter on their parent's feet."
E.g. チームマルモリは、相手の激しい攻めに耐え、最後まで1点差を守り抜いた。 "Team MaruMori endured their opponent's severe attacks, and held the one-point difference until the end."
E.g. 君にこのミッションを最後までやり抜く覚悟はあるか。 "Are you prepared to see this mission through to the end?"
~抜く may be used in casual and polite spoken settings, as well as in written speech.

〜抜く compounds indicate that an action was done "through to the end" and/or "thoroughly"
