Don't do... (command)

To express "don't..." simply add な to the end of a verb's dictionary form.
E.g. それを食べるな。 "Don't eat that."
This is quite a strong command, so it is best to use softer options such as 〜ないでください in polite situations.
Note: Be careful not to confuse this with verb stem + な, which is a friendly suggestion.
