〜も～ば・なら、～も～だ

The ～も～ば～も pattern is used to create lists that feature two positive things, two negative things, or two contrasting things.

The general pattern for ～も～ば～も involves sandwiching a conditional verb/noun/adjective between two nouns marked by も.

E.g. パイナップルピザは、すごい好すきという人ひともいれば、大嫌だいきらいという人ひともいる。 "There are people who really like pineapple pizza, and there are people who really don't."

E.g. 最近さいきんは、仕事しごとも大変たいへんならプライベートも忙いそがしい。 "Recently, work has been difficult and my private life has been busy."

E.g. このパソコンは、性能せいのうも良よければ値段ねだんも安やすい。 "This computer has good performance and is cheap."

～も～ば～も has a spoken tone to it, but is most commonly used in written dialogue, with ～し being more common in real-life casual spoken contexts.
